Willow Village (“we,” “us”) helps families coordinate care for a loved one. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We treat your family’s information carefully.
What we collect
- Account info: your name, email, and — if you add it — your mobile phone number.
- Care information you enter: appointments, medications, tasks, journal notes, and messages inside your family’s private village.
- Basic usage data needed to run and secure the service.
How we use it
We use your information only to provide Willow Village — to show your family’s care details to the people you’ve invited, and to send the notifications you choose to turn on (in-app, email, and text).
Mobile phone numbers & text messages (SMS)
- We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information and consent are never shared with third parties for marketing.
- You opt in to text messages by turning on the “Text” notification channel in the app’s settings. You only receive texts about your own family’s care.
- Message frequency varies, based on your notification settings and your family’s activity.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to opt out of texts at any time. Reply HELP for help.
Your family’s data is isolated
Each family’s village is walled off from every other family at the database level. Only the people you invite to your village can see its information.
We don’t sell your data
We do not sell your personal information, health information, or contact details.
Your choices
- Turn any notification channel on or off in Settings → Notifications.
- Ask us to export or permanently delete your family’s data.
Security
Information is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is limited to what’s needed to run the service.
